Branch Hike to the Castle

 
 
As we were climbing the hill our little friend came to greet us, Get such a kick out of all the random places we have a donkey hanging around in the background of our lives.

 
Everyone brought their own lunch and Water! 

Monkia brought her two lovely friends from another village--they go to the same school

For weeks the members have been planning the Hike up the mountain to the castle.  The hike was Great not too hard or too long and the thing is:  There is no castle up there anymore... there use to be and now there is a monument of what used to be.

We had a little bit of Female Drama on the way up,  but on the way down everyone was helping each other because:

 Klevis had "a short cut"    that took actually much longer than if we were to take the dirt road that wind around to the top.  But hey, it made for an adventure for sure.  

For weeks Klevis has been telling us about the snakes, wolves and even bear..... Seriously this hike was about the equivalent of going to the waterfall just above our house and about as rigorous.  We had a lovely picnic up there and all was good.  Perfect weather! 


There is beauty all around----When there's love at home and if you don't look at the trash!
