Frenki--- Frenki has been baptized not even a week. He is 16 years old and can grow a beard. The kid is a positive force of nervous sunshine. You ask him, "How are you Frenki?" He always replies, "Fantastic, Super, The Best! Perfect!" The Elders gave him a challenge at baptism to start memorizing the Sacrament Prayers....... Next day they are memorized, the day after he has memorized D&C 4, the day after that he has memorized all thirteen articles of faith. Note he hasn't even been baptized a whole week yet ---he is now memorizing all the Book of Mormon summaries. His head is like a computer! That is our Frenki--Oh and he has finally found his niche with the other young men ---he is tall and can block the goal for our weekly muddy "football-soccer" games. So...Great! Fantastic! Perfect!

Everyday here the scriptures just unfold with real life people facing real life issues. I feel that I am a spectator of prophecy. I read the scriptures and the next day or two the very situation unfolds before my face. Most too private too fragile to place on the internet. Today's scripture was 3 Nephi chapter 22. "For a small moment have I forsaken thee but with great mercies will I gather thee. ...... My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. "
Oh thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted......Just wait.... be patient.... the blessing will be more than you can imagine... Today I pray for my dear friend Jeta and her children.
Long Evening Walks just to D---STRESS! Or should I say K----Stress!
Lorin and I head for the hills to get away from all the things we cannot control and cannot permit and cannot face yet!.... We go upward to the hills sometimes in the Makim but mostly on foot. We just walk and walk and walk. The villages above seem to have more peace. Their lives are less demanding and uniquely simple. Our lives down lower by the lake are much more intense ! People above even speak quieter. I also love to hear the stream flowing as we walk.
These hill are cut out by sheep and goats that are herded along the mountainside for generations.
This is a small village close to the lake that have blocked the streams that flow towards the lake and they have made beautiful farm lands and stock ponds with fish. They seem to work together in a community type garden ...everyone helping with the plots of land taking shifts.
